What is ARC?
ARC
offers a free and confidential counselling service
We offer this service to anyone who
needs counselling, young and old in a warm, comfortable
and safe environment
What does it cost?
Our service is FREE and all counsellors at ARC are
volunteers. However we have running costs and fund
raise to supplement our grant from the local authority.
We do not ask you for money but if you wish to make
a donation we will receive it gratefully.
Who funds us?
We are supported by Wokingham District Council, National
Lottery, Wokingham and Earley Town Councils, Primary
Care Trust, Local Network Fund and client donations
amongst others.
Counsellors
Our Counsellors go through a very careful selection
process and undergo a police check in accordance with
current government requirements. They are required
to keep their skills up to date by attending training
courses each year.
We are a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling
& Psychotherapy) and abide by their Code of Ethics
and Practice. Copies are available on request.
